Stories Philippines Podcast - Pinoy Horror Stories
HustleStudios Podcast Network
Stories Philippines Podcast is the original, the first, and the longest-running Filipino horror podcast. Since 2005, the show has explored the terrifying stories that linger inside old houses, remote provinces, forgotten roads, crowded cities, and the darkest corners of the Philippine archipelago. Hosted by Paul, Angel, Hendrick, and Zach, each regular episode brings together four to five carefully curated Filipino horror stories filled with ghostly encounters, local mysteries, supernatural folklore, urban legends, and experiences that remain difficult to explain. True Encounters episodes go even deeper, featuring fifteen allegedly true horror stories submitted by listeners. These are personal accounts of apparitions, haunted homes, aswang sightings, mysterious voices, unsettling dreams, unexplained creatures, and moments when the ordinary world suddenly became something else. From balete trees and abandoned hospitals to ancestral houses, haunted schools, provincial highways, and places known only through whispered warnings, Stories Philippines Podcast preserves the fears, beliefs, and supernatural traditions carried across generations. Some stories are rooted in Philippine folklore. Others are personal recollections, community legends, dramatizations, or allegedly true accounts that may not be independently verified. Every episode is told with respect for the people and communities behind the stories. New episodes weekly. Paul, Angel, Zach, and Hendrick return with five places that refused to stay quiet: a train station that still runs its ghost timetable, a sugar mill office with a drinker who never left, a hospital that remodels its own hallways, a convent room that keeps watch over the dead, and a lighthouse shadow that learns its keeper. Three creatures. Three territories. One rule: show respect, or belong to them forever. Paul, Angel, and Zach explore the terrifying world of Filipino folklore β from the backward-legged tikbalang that stalks Mt. A nurse in Iloilo watches three patients check into her hospital with the same impossible symptom: blood vanishing from their bodies with no wound, no bleeding, no explanation. A park ranger on Mt. Arayat follows a floating orange light into the forest and watches it scorch a perfect circle into the earth. A tour guide on Corregidor Island walks into a formation of invisible soldiers and loses three degrees of body temperature in seconds. And a father in Davao watches a creature that looks like his daughter's age sit outside his window, crying with a mouth full of teeth that no baby should have. Beneath the oldest Spanish fort in the Philippines, there are tunnels that no tourist has ever seen. An archaeologist maps them. She finds cells with iron rings. She finds scratches on stone: God, Forgiveness, Death. And behind a sealed door, a voice still praying after three hundred years. In this episode, Paul, Angel and Zach explore four of the most haunted historical structures in the Philippines -- from the subterranean dungeons of Fort San Pedro in Cebu to a heritage house on the oldest street in the country, from a shadowy convent in Intramuros to a lighthouse in Ilocos Norte where a dark shape follows you the more alone you become. βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ CHAPTERS βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ 00:00 -- Opening and Welcome 02:30 -- Story 1: The Ghost of Fort San Pedro in Cebu 18:00 -- Discussion: The archaeologist and the sealed door 20:00 -- Story 2: The Tambaloslos of a Cebu Heritage House 36:00 -- Discussion: The house that changes at night 38:00 -- Mid-roll: Subscribe and share 39:00 -- Story 3: The Ghost of the Old Convent in Intramuros 50:00 -- Discussion: The photograph that captured a ghost 52:00 -- Story 4: The Pasing of the Lighthouse in Cape Bojeador 56:00 -- Final Discussion and Closing βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ Hosts: Paul, Angel and Zach #StoriesPhilippines #FilipinoHorror #FortSanPedro #CebuHorror #SpanishColonialGhosts #IntramurosGhosts #CapeBojeador #HauntedPhilippines #PinoyHorror #GhostStories #ParanormalPodcast #FilipinoFolklore Want every episode before everyone else? In the old quarter of Marawi City, a family of woodcarvers has kept a secret for five generations. Their most famous creation, a sarimanok carved from a single piece of narra wood, is said to be alive. Its obsidian eyes move. Its feathers shift. At night, it sings. But this is only the first of four stories tonight. We travel to Zamboanga, where a forensic pathologist examines a body that refuses to stay dead. To Mount Arayat in Pampanga, where a fire elemental drifts above the balete canopy. And to the Magat River in Isabela, where something ancient waits in the murky water. Stories from four corners of the Philippines. Creatures that have lived in the shadows of these islands for centuries. Some are beautiful. Some are terrifying. All of them are real to the people who share them. This episode was created with AI assistance. What lives in the deepest waters around the Philippines? A marine biologist dives to fifty meters off the coast of Palawan and sees something on the underwater wall that has no scientific name. A freediving instructor on Apo Island encounters a pale figure that mirrors her every movement and beckons her into the dark. A fish researcher on the Magat River hears a scream like a woman drowning and sees a green-skinned shape at the water's edge. And a second engineer on a cargo ship in the Sibuyan Sea hears scratching in the ceiling at two in the morning, and two of his crewmates are never seen again. Something was breathing inside a sealed shipping container at Subic Bay Freeport Zone. A logistics worker cut the bolt seal on container MCNU-7741 one Friday night and found an organic membrane covering every surface. In the center, a human-shaped figure wrapped in tissue. Alive. Aware. Breathing. What followed was a cover-up by the shipping line, a Korean leasing company that vanished, and three more containers that appeared and disappeared from the same yard. The worker who opened the container was left with permanent damage to his hand and a connection to something that may still be growing beneath the concrete. βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ CHAPTERS βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ 00:00 β Opening: Paul, Angel and Zach welcome listeners 01:00 β The Subic Bay Freeport and its dark history 08:00 β Container MCNU-7741: The sealed mystery 15:00 β Row 17: The cold, damp section nobody talks about 22:00 β Friday night: Cutting the seal 30:00 β Inside the container: The membrane and the figure 38:00 β The breathing: Something alive in the cold 45:00 β Escape and aftermath 52:00 β The Korean shipping line confirms damage 58:00 β The inspector who saw nothing 65:00 β Three more containers from the same company 72:00 β The crack in the concrete: Something coming back up 78:00 β Dreams of the faceless head 85:00 β Closing and Call to Action βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ #StoriesPhilippines #FilipinoHorror #SubicBay #ShippingContainerHorror #Paranormal #GhostStories #PhilippineHorror #PinoyHorror #DeepOcean #ContainerHorror #MaritimeMystery #TrueHorror Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/stories-philippines-podcast-pinoy-horror-stories--6886028/support. β€οΈ Support Stories Philippines Podcast! Five listeners. Five encounters. Zero explanations. A shipping container in Subic Bay weighs fourteen thousand kilograms despite being empty. A white lady steps off a two-hundred-meter cliff on Kennon Road and vanishes. A marine biologist discovers a thirty-meter creature covered in mirrors deep beneath Palawan. A woman's voice pleads for help from a locked room in the Diplomat Hotel. And a corrections officer hears a lullaby sung to empty cells every full moon for twelve years. True Encounters Vol. 31 collects five of the most unsettling listener submissions we have ever received. These are real people sharing real experiences that they cannot explain. From the logistics yards of Subic to the deep waters of Palawan, from the winding curves of Kennon Road to the decaying halls of the Diplomat Hotel and the echoing corridors of the Old Bilibid Prison, these stories prove that the Philippines is a country where the boundary between the living and the dead is thinner than we believe. Hosted by Angel, Paul, and Zach. Stories Philippines Podcast is a Filipino horror podcast exploring Philippine folklore, supernatural encounters, and the darkest corners of Filipino culture. A single wall in a brand-new Loyola Heights garage. A faint tap, every night at the same hour. A young woman named metroManila had just moved into her dream house, only to discover the developer had sealed someone inside the concrete of her own garage wall. Tonight on Stories Philippines Podcast, we crack open five true accounts of tombs that should have stayed sealed, cement that was never meant to dry, and the dead who refuse to stay where you put them. This is Episode One Hundred and One: The Concrete Tomb. Lock every door in your house before you press play. The Concrete Tomb gathers five real accounts from listeners and field reports across the Philippines, all bound by one terrifying question β what happens when a grave is sealed, and the sealing doesn't work? Each story has been verified for atmosphere, location, and detail, with care taken to protect the people who lived through them. Tonight, hosts Paul and Angel walk you through what happens when a body is given to the cement, and the cement gives it back. STORY ONE β THE CONCRETE TOMB IN LOYOLA HEIGHTS: In our first story, set in two thousand and five in Loyola Heights, Quezon City, twenty-four-year-old metroManila and her husband Carlo move into a brand-new house in a brand-new subdivision. Construction on the lot next door unearths old concrete tombs from a forgotten cemetery. At first metroManila doesn't think much of it, until she starts hearing a faint tap-tap-tap from her own garage wall, every night, always at one in the morning. When she finally investigates, she discovers a section of her garage wall is hollow. Behind the paint and the hollow is a fully formed concrete tomb, complete with a name etched into the cement. A name from a family that was never paid relocation costs. A family that has been waiting, behind her wall, for eighteen years. STORY TWO β THE WORKER WHO POURED THE WRONG CEMENT: Our second story, set in two thousand and four, follows Mang Nestor, a Caloocan construction foreman hired to permanently seal an abandoned mausoleum at the old public cemetery. The families of the long-dead have been asking the city to seal the tombs because, every few months, something pushes the lids off from the inside. Mang Nestor arrives with a crew of seven and a truckload of fresh cement. As they pour, the slab under their feet begins to shift. A voice rises from below, clear and desperate, saying in Tagalog, "Huwag. Huwag ninyo akong isara. Hindi pa ako patay." Finish it. I'm not dead yet. The next morning, the new cement is cracked from below in a perfect hand print, and one of Mang Nestor's workers is found unconscious at the cemetery gate, unable to remember his own name. STORY THREE β THE CREMATORIUM THAT WOULDN'T STOP SMOKING: In our third story, we travel to a brand-new crematorium in Pampanga, where twenty-six-year-old Ben takes the night shift in the spring of two thousand and three. After his first solo cremation, an elderly woman named Aling Nene, the oven won't stop running. Ben waits for the cycle to end. Three hours later, the oven is still running at full temperature. When he finally cracks the viewing window, the body is half-incinerated, but the bones have moved. They are all facing the viewing window. They are facing him. He cremates three more bodies that week. Each one does the same thing. Each one faces the same direction. They are all watching a tall man in a gray suit who stands in the parking lot every morning, waiting for someone to come outside. STORY FOUR β THE MAUSOLEUM THAT SANG AT THREE: Our fourth story brings us to La Loma, Quezon City, in the summer of two thousand and two, where twenty-year-old college student Trina takes a job as the night guard at a private family mausoleum to pay for tuition. She is told one rule: never, under any circumstance, enter Block Four. Block Four is the oldest wing, sealed since nineteen sixty-eight. At three in the morning, on her seventh shift, Trina hears singing. A woman's voice, low and sweet, singing a lullaby she has not heard in thirteen years. The lullaby her mother used to sing to her before her mother died in nineteen eighty-nine, when Trina was seven. The voice is coming from inside Block Four. The next morning, Trina looks up the mausoleum's records. Block Four contains exactly one tomb. The name on the tomb is her mother's. STORY FIVE β THE EMPTY LOT IN MARIKINA: Our fifth and final story is set in Marikina in the rainy season of two thousand and one, where the Buenaventura family buys a suspiciously cheap lot to build their forever home. The previous owner, a frail old woman, comes to their door on signing day and begs them, in tears, never to dig after dark. They sign. They ignore her. On the third day of excavation, the backhoe hits concrete. Not a pipe. Not a foundation. A fully formed concrete tomb, with no opening, no door, no lid, perfectly set in the earth. The foreman says leave it. The husband insists they crack it open. They do. The tomb is completely empty. But that night, something sleeps where the tomb used to be. Every night, the family hears it. Every night, it gets closer to the house. Throughout the episode, Paul and Angel react to each story in real time, trading the kind of banter only two friends can. There are no jump scares. There are no cheap effects. Just five stories, told straight, about what happens when you seal a body inside concrete, and the body decides it isn't done with the world yet. This is Filipino horror at its slowest and most patient. Let the cement set. Listen carefully. Don't dig after dark.
